Who am I?

Chapter 1 - The wrong family

It was the beginning of a warm summer night, with the moon shining brighter than ever in a beautiful white, as a female black stork was seen on the sky. In her red beak she carried a small basket with a little sleeping creature inside, covered in soft blankets.
The stork made her way into a big, magical forest and found her target place as she saw a little village, which houses were made out of mushrooms. She made a soft landing in the middle of the village and placed the basket down to the ground in front of a house, where the light was still shining out of the windows. The stork took a look through one of them and saw a few beds with small creatures laying inside, who possibly just fell asleep. Next to the beds sat an older one of them, with a book in his hand. The creatures looked similar to humans, but the adult one was just about three apples high, they had a stumpy tail and their skin was blue. All of the little ones in the beds were wearing white hats, while the older one, with the brown full beard, wore a red one along with red tights.
The black stork took one last look into the basket with the baby inside, as she stared at it with surprise. Its skin wasn't blue as the skin of the other creatures in the house. It was as white as the bright shining moon, plus his hat, which he was wearing, was light blue. The bird was confused. She thought she would have landed in the right village. But as she saw the difference between the skin colors of the creatures, she wasn't sure anymore. Maybe there was another village somewhere with more of those white-skinned ones. The stork pondered a while, not sure what to do next. But then she finally came to a decision and took the basket, spread her wings and made her way up to the sky again.

She searched high and low for the right place, but it was nowhere to find. The distance between her and the magical forest became larger and larger. She knew she couldn't fly back home from where she came from until she delivered the baby to a family. For that amount of time, she had to care for the it. So the night passed and the next morning was dawning already, as the stork had to take a rest on a little meadow nearby. She didn't know how far away she was from the magical forest already. The only thought she had, was to find that village with all those white creatures. She was so sure it would exist somewhere.
While she was deep in thought, a cry was heard out of the small basket. The stork jumped a little, but then she slowly took the blankets away with her beak and saw the white baby crying. The little boy must have been hungry. Without wasting a thought about what the creature might eat, the stork looked around and spotted a lake, not far away. She left the basket behind and made her way to the lake, looking for something to eat for the crying midget. Different kinds of fishes were swimming in the water, but they were too big for the baby to eat. Then the black stork saw lots of tadpoles, and without hesitation, she catched them with her long, red beak. Back at the basket, with the baby still crying loudly, the bird tried to soothe him by stroking his cheek softly with her beak. He calmed down a bit and looked up at her with his big, red, shiny eyes. The stork placed her beak over the midget's mouth and carefully let the tadpoles fall inside. But he spit them out, not liking the taste of the slimy little amphibians, as he soon started to cry again. Not knowing what else to do, the stork tried to put them inside his mouth again. But he always spit them out. She almost gave up after trying it a several times again and again, until the baby's hunger was too big and he finally swallowed them. The stork feeled relieved and brought him some more tadpoles to eat. While she did that, she also catched a few fishes for herself.
After the little white boy had enough, he smiled at the bird, reaching for her beak to pet it. His red eyes glistened as he touched her. The stork sat down next to the basket and decided to take a little nap, since she didn't got any sleep the last night. She layed her wing over the basket, to protect the baby from possible enemies that might be around. But she hadn't much time to sleep, because after a while, the little fella started to cry again. What was it now? He couldn't be hungry again that fast. The bird stood up again and looked inside the basked until a kinda stinky smell reached her nostrils. She quickly noticed the diaper the baby was wearing. There was no other option than remove it from him. So she used her beak to pull it off, carefully. It wasn't easy, but somehow she did it and threw the full diaper away into the shrubs. Soon after, as the baby stopped crying, the black stork somehow wasn't tired anymore and she also still had to search for the right family for the little boy. She took the basket and continued her way.

She flew and flew, as a week passed. And there was still no sign of a home for the poor little baby. That wasn't good, but the bird didn't know what to do. One day, near a small forest, she found a little cottage with an uninhabited stork's nest on top of the roof. She decided to settle down there. She put the basket inside first and stepped in afterwards. The baby took a look outside his basket, crawled out of it, made his way to the edge of the nest and looked down. Two human childs were playing outside, their father sawed some wood, and the mother sat on a chair, sewing some pants. The little white fella smiled at them and wanted to crawl down to them until the black stork took him by his tail with her beak to pull him back inside the safe nest. He looked up at her questioningly, but she just shook her head slightly, letting him know that he has to stay inside. The baby took one last look back down and then crawled to the bird, cuddling up to her smooth feathers. He liked her very much, since she was the first living being he ever saw in his life and she cared for him with much love. The stork knew that it was too late now to deliver the baby to a family. Even if she would find the right family for him, he wouldn't accept them, since he had spent too much time with the bird already. So she decided to keep the little midget and cared for him as if he would be her own son.
Okay, so I started to write a story about Blanco. (the one and only true story, btw! x_X)
This is what I wrote so far, and I wanted to upload it to see if it's understandable and good to read >///<
It's my first time ever uploading a story here o_O xD And as you may know... it's a little hard for me to write in english, since I'm German D//: So please don't be too harsh, lolol x//D
But I would really like to know if you're all able to understand it!! xDDD
Ehh... ok, I think that's it for now! xDD

EDIT
Okay, I decided to do this story in chapters, even if I'm not sure how many chapters there will be... Plus this chapter might be a little short... but as I said before, this is like my first story ever D//: I'm not very good at it, but I try my best >//<
